Intake Process

Interested in joining our program?

Since we are a transitional home, we have multiple steps in our intake process. Agape's Embrace requires specific criteria for participants in our program. Please be sure to review the criteria before applying.  We want to ensure that every woman & family that enters our program is set up for success, and in order to do that, we take careful time to assess our applicants to ensure our program will be the best fit.

Women

  • Must be over 18 years old

  • Single mom 

  • Veteran of United States  Military Service

  • Must be single and willing to abstain from dating while in the program

  • Must be sober and willing to abstain from all substances (including cigarettes and vapes)

Reunification

  • We accept moms who are close to reunification with their child(ren) currently in DCS custody

Children

  • Must be under the age of 13

  • Cannot have more than 3 children (including any expectant children)

Domestic Violence

  • We are unable to accept a family in an active domestic violence situation

Pregnancy

  • Can be currently pregnant

Employment

  • Participants must be employed during their time in the program

  • Must be able to secure employment within the first month in the program
